Over but not Out

Robbie McEwen is set to retire from cycling after the Amgen Tour of California (so you all better watch it!) but will stay on the GreenEdge to teach the youngsters a thing or two.

Over but not out and thank goodness for that.
McEwen has been one of Australia’s brightest cycling stars, winning the prestigious Maillot Vert (green jersey) three times in Le Tour de France.

He was also renowned for not relying on a perfect 10 out of 10 lead out train, heck, most of the time he was the train, leading himself to victory, time and time again.

An aggressive rider also rumoured to have had a bout with Lance Armstrong at one tour or another, the Aussie will now take on a support role for the first Australian cycling team.

And just in time for Le Tour!!
