One Less to Love

On a serious note and for all you animal lovers out there, today was a grim day with confirmation that the Black Rhino is now officially extinct.

The only place to see them now is in the zoo.

Such a shame.

But this is why it is important to be aware of the fact that animals such as these are in danger due to the increased industrialisation of the environment and our dependence of it in daily life.

And really, we do not understand nearly enough about this environment (nor is it truly possible) to which animal becoming extinct will tip the eco systems.

For a world prided on diversity of man and animal, it seems with their endangerment and not ours that this lovely earth is becoming terribly one sided.
