Moments at the Mall

Yep. It’s December uh, I mean November but with these entire Christmas decorations hubbub going on, it’s rather possible that Doc Brown’s Delorean became a bus and took us all forward a month.

Nowhere and I mean, nowhere is the Christmas spirit so eagerly embodied than at the watering hole of consumerism; yes, that’s right, the mall.

Browsing the shops and yes, purchasing gifts ( I am no Grinch, for starters, my heart is far too large, and heck, buying presents is what I do!) the ringing of bells and those delightfully (?) catchy carols flooded past me, that, and Santa (in the best outfit... ever), a Snowman, a few of his little helpers (all perky and blonde... huh, Santa has a type!) as well as the security guards, all three of them.

Sorry, but who would take Santa down?

Then later in the day the noise I recalled of a microphone, and of singing, it was a guest appearance... oh, how American of us!

Who was the delightful musician? Australia’s very own answer to the suave Michael Buble and yes, just has handsome , 2009 winner of Australia’s got Talent Mark Vincent

After the gig he signed his John Hancock while the 30 something’s swooned... and rightfully so, the Daily Red was even a little red herself!
so when I later found out his age (on his webpage... not Wikipedia!) I was more than a little stunned... 18... please, and to be honest with you all, I’m still not convinced.

But hey, these are the moments at the malls, tad more eventful than what happens at a real watering hole methinks.
