At the base of it

I love pizza the way people love a new movie, or drooling over Robert Pattinson, but then again, I do not scream at the sight of a pizza base.

But I have indeed graduated from the traditional base that I throw up into the air, and hope to catch, or hope that it does not become stuck on the roof.

Instead I, as you would all be aware of, moved from the humble pita bread (that I still do have from time to time) into the realms of what I’d traditionally say, for a pizza base at least, is not that traditional.

Naan Bread is the buzzword that tingles the tastebuds and invokes memories of achieving pizza pandemonium.

The bread as a base is rather thick, and small, but still large enough to be a good snack for all you uni kids out there when the readings become all too much.

Tonight I had pita bread for the first time in a while, and it tasted, the pizza, that is, not as nice as you’d think.

So it turns out, that at the base of it, pizza and Naan go together like vegemite and cheese .
