Trick or Treat; Not so Sweet?

As you may all know (though for varying reasons) tis the time to scream, though perhaps not for ice-cream, that is to say; it’s Halloween once more.

Now, in Australia this a holiday recently coming to our shores but if it is a holiday, it’s good enough for kids to get dressed as ghosts and red riding hoods, but for the young adults, it is a chance to dress sexually (as if we didn’t already) plus an excuse for another party.

I fail to see how this is a big injustice on behalf of Australians, some say that it is an
American tradition, but I rebut with the fact that vegemite is American owned now, what will we do, boycott that too?

There is no harm in Halloween, apart from if you are cat you shall lose one or more lives out of fright.

But I digress.

I mean, come one guys, I’d understand all this hubbub if they were cancelling out one of our holidays, and it is not like we get a public holiday for Halloween ( I might have a problem with it then).

So where is the harm in a bit of an old fashioned fright night?
