Cadel winning an award for his sporting achievements I no surprise, but if he had not win, it would have been sheer anarchy (well. Maybe just me then).
The yellow will always be Cadel’s nearest and dearest (award!) but for the rest of us, seeing him to get accolades and even more accolade cements to the Australian fan that he is deserving, and it is important to Australia sporting history!
But it’s a shame, to be honest, for as much as adore Cadel that other cyclists such as Matt Goss (who got so close to gold at this year’s Worlds) are noticed, but not to the same extent.
Regardless, what a year of cycling for Cadel!
