GreenEdge will not be in the Red

Next year poses many thrilling factors to cycling in the land of Oz (no wizard, but a female PM) including the debutante season of GreenEdge cycling.

Also next year we have Cadel Evans aiming to win again (fingers crossed) as well as the one, the only Eddy Merckx coming to the Tour Down Under (a pretty big coup if you ask me).

But back onto GreenEdge, with the Olympics a mere five days after the Tour de France is finished.

With this in mind and inevitably some of the talent on the squad vying for gold around their necks, the crew has taken this into account and will shape the season around these hopes and dreams of the riders.

So with all the hoo-ha and excitement surrounding the greatness of Australian cycling next year, will it actually be that good?

Yes, Cadel will hopefully win, but I am more referring to whether or not the first season of GreenEdge will be something to be so pumped up with, considering the focus is divided on the Olympics in London and the rest of the season.

What do you think readers?
