Baked beans and the new rule


As the old saying goes, “Baked Beans, Baked Beans good for your heart, Baked Beans, Baked Beans, a new food art?”

As someone whose inspiration for cooking comes in many a place, from the book to the kitchen bench and even the back of a can or back of a box of cereal/.

So when I saw the recipe for “Baked Bean Burgers” I was initially apprehensive, for after all, my appreciation for this dinner in a tin was as a far as nowhere.

But, then I cooked them, and to be honest, they were not half bad, but upon the second time of cooking them for dinner, I experimented, adding curry paste and shallot amid the inventory thrown into the mixing bowl.

From that becomes a staple in my stomach.

Combining this burger with pita bread, or parmesan cheese makes this all so much better.
