APPtastic

While the gym junkie can oft be described as being “abtastic” a term to describe the baker’s dozen of six packs on traditionally, the male’s body.
But what about the geeks, or as I prefer to call them, digital natives of our land, how about app-tastic?
The rise of the app (short for application) that features on your iPod, iPad, or iPhone in a variety of types; from shopping lists, to sex positions and all the way around to Angry Birds.
I was never a true devotee of these applications, I failed to see why they were so popular (read: addictive). To be perfectly honest with you readers, I was happy being app-less.
But then again, when I downloaded a translator, a couple of games and a dictionary it was as if I was snow White, kissed by Prince Charming; that is, brought back to life, and brought into a world of technological goodness.
I’ve tried Angry Birds (the highest selling game app on iTunes, and still stands that way) and yes, fun but also frustrating. So in some ways, after playing the game for some time, it is not merely the birds that are angry.
What I’ve learned from the proliferation of apps is not that they are a nuisance, no, I  fact some are ridiculously good fun, while others can be, if containing wit the Snow White references; a bad apple.
So let’s yap about apps dear readers, what is on your Apple device at the moment, and what have you recently deleted?
