The Worlds are next week!

Copenhagen is gearing up (no pun intended) for the UCI Road World Cycling Championships, as is SBS.

After a victory in Le Tour de France, any other grand tour, it is on equal glory as winning a gold medal in an Olympic event.

The rainbow jersey is worn by the rider who wins in their division, whether it be road race or time trial, etc.

It (the World Championships) will be expertly live-streamed by the Cycling Central crew who already do such a fantastic job covering the three grand tours, for one thing, here at the Daily Red I will be boosting up the Gigabytes and intently staring a computer screen for the Aussie Cyclones to come around!

But for those of you who have perfectly good telly to watch the coverage on, you can watch selected races, including the elite mens road race on the 25th September from 11:10pm to 1:15 am (AEST) ... Reminds me of the good old Tour days!

Fingers crossed an Aussie can claim gold and the Rainbow at the Worlds next week!
