There are some Italian dishes that deserve their moment
under the Tuscan sun; the staples of pasta, pizza and lasagne are the three deserving
the limelight.
For the purposes for the article, pasta gets a look in, yes
the slimy and wriggly spaghetti or fettuccine flavoured by creamy or tomato
sauces.
It makes the tongue salivate and the inner chefs say “Belissimo!”
over and over.
Whether with meat or mere vegetables, pasta is the perfect accompaniment
to a date or even for a meal to indulge when watching the latest episode of
Glee.
Some foods deserve the pedestal and the lime (and basil)
light, Vegemite has already been there, as has the miracle of potatoes and
sensations of herbs.
